We recently had an event called the Hep Cat Pin-Up Review at ARTpool in St Petersburg, FL - I put together a playlist of rockabilly, swing, and burlesque dance friendly party music.
Some of the songs we played were by artists like Imelda May - here is her track Pulling the Rug from her CD "Mayhem"
Another fun upbeat song was from Josie Kreuzer, Ball That Jack from her CD "Hot Rod Girl". Josie has two other CDs on Amazon, "As Is" and "Beggin Me Back"
Kim Lenz added some great tracks from "Up To My Old Tricks Again", "It's All True" and "The One and Only". This is "Fit To Be Tied":
Finally, representing the guys, JD McPherson recently put out his debut CD "Signs and Signifiers". It is full of hot tracks like Scratching Circles
